Daryl Peterson joined the Minnesota Land Trust in 2010. He has tremendous professional experience in land conservation and is an expert in aquatic resource management, including stream restoration, going back to 1991. Daryl spent more than 15 years at the Nature Conservancy both in Duluth and in California.
In addition, Daryl worked for several years at the US Bureau of Reclamation in California managing restoration projects on the Trinity River.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Whittier College in California and a master’s degree in Plant Ecology from California State, Chico. Daryl is based in our Duluth office where he leads the Land Trust’s work within the context of Lake Superior and its tributaries.
