John Brosnan
Project Manager
John Brosnan joined the Minnesota Land Trust in January, 2012 as our Project Manager responsible for implementing conservation projects that lead to the protection of sensitive shoreline habitats in the heart of Minnesota’s premier lake country of Aitkin, Cass and Crow Wing counties. John works closely with other MLT staff, landowners, and our project partners, including the Leech Lake Area Watershed Foundation, to advance conservation in this part of the state. Originally from Michigan, John has over 13 years of experience in conservation work, specifically in comprehensive and regional planning, stakeholder engagement, land protection and program management. John spent 5 years as the Baylands Program Manager for the Sonoma Land Trust. Prior to that, he served as Program Coordinator for the San Francisco Bay Area Wetlands Restoration Program. John has a Masters of Public Affairs (Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs) to complement his Bachelor of Sceince in Natural Resources and the Environment (University of Michigan).
