Maggie Karschnia
Land Protection Associate (Central Region)

Maggie Karschnia joined the Land Trust staff in September 2007 and serves as the Land Protection Associate. She is responsible for project development and preparing baseline property reports in the 26-county central region, as well as for providing overall administrative support for all three regions of the Land Trust. Prior to joining the Land Trust, Maggie most recently served as the Water Resources Technician for Lincoln-Pipestone Rural Water. Prior to that, Maggie worked for the Minnesota DNR with their Scientific and Natural Areas Program, restoring native prairie and woodland areas. She has a bachelor’s degree in Conservation from the University of Wisconsin and is currently working towards her Master of Arts in Education: Natural Science and Environmental Education at Hamline University.
