Clean Water Land and Legacy Amendment Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund

Nick Bancks, Program Manager for Avon Hills, Metro and Southeastern Minnesota Blufflands, is working with landowners in those areas on permanent conservation easements.

Nick works directly with landowners and our project partners, including local soil and water districts, municipal governments, public agencies, and conservation organizations.

Nick graduated from Saint John's University with a degree in Biology, and holds a Masters of Science degree in Natural Resources Science and Management from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Along the way, Nick picked up a Masters of Arts in Library and Info Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Nick comes to us from Sibley County’s Watershed Grants program and, before that he served the Heron Lake Watershed District (HLWD) and the Forestry Department at the University of Minnesota.
