Projects
In 1993 Minnesota Land Trust completed its first project - 80 acres of scenic farmland in Washington County. Since then, the Trust has completed 361 projects protecting more than 51 square miles. Follow the links below to learn about other notable easements. Habitat corridors: This 165-acre easement is part of a larger habitat complex, and protects about a quarter-mile of Snake River shoreline. Securing the future: The Hinze Family protected 240 acres with an easement in Pine County. Waterfowl habitat: An easement in Otter Tail County will preserve more than a square mile of land, including significant shoreline on Lake Emma. Working together: A partnership between the Minnesotal Land Trust, the City of Wayzata, a group of citizens, and The Trust for Public Land led to an easement on Cenacle Woods in Wayzata. |
