Volunteering

The Minnesota Land Trust relies extensively on volunteers to monitor the properties on which it holds conservation easements. A fundamental part of our ongoing stewardship responsibilities, monitoring is one of the most important ways of maintaining a positive relationship with each landowner and ensuring the integrity of the easements, especially as the land changes hands over time.

All monitors must complete the Volunteer Monitor Certification Program.

Training sessions for 2008 have not yet been scheduled. Contact Cecily McChalicher if you'd like to volunteer.
