Volunteering

The Land Trust protects over 380 properties across the State with conservation easements.  We strive to visit each landowner and to monitor each protected property annually, and we rely on volunteer monitors to help accomplish this goal.

Volunteer monitors attend a training session in May and are then assigned to monitor 1-3 properties during the monitoring season, which runs from June-November. Volunteering for the Land Trust as a conservation easement monitor is a great way to enjoy the outdoors while helping to protect land throughout the State.

TRAINING IS COMPLETED FOR THE 2009 MONITORING SEASON.
