Volunteering

The Land Trust protects nearly 400 properties across Minnesota with conservation easements.  We strive to visit each landowner and to monitor each protected property annually, and we rely on volunteer monitors to help accomplish this goal.

Volunteer monitors attend a training session in the spring and are then assigned to monitor 1-3 properties during the monitoring season, which runs from June-November. Volunteering for the Land Trust as a conservation easement monitor is a great way to enjoy the outdoors while helping to protect land throughout the State.

TRAINING IS NOT YET SCHEDULED FOR THE 2010 SEASON. If you'd like us to let you know when it is, send Anne Murphy a message here.
