Wayne Ostlie joined the Minnesota Land Trust in 2015 as its Director of Land Protection, and provides the organization with expertise in strategic planning, partnership development and program management.
Prior to joining the Land Trust, Wayne spent eight years leading and growing Great River Greening’s conservation program in Minnesota as its Director of Conservation Programs. Across 19 years with The Nature Conservancy, he led its Great Plains and Iowa science programs, led and mentored staff in regional conservation planning exercises across the globe, and served as the organization’s interface between its science and government relations programs.
He received his M.A. degree in Biology from the University of Kansas and his. B.A. degree in Biology from Luther College.
