Gifts of securities, land or other assets

Gifts of securities can be made by contacting Walter Abramson, 651-647-9590, or email here.  The Minnesota Land Trust can also discuss gifts of land or other assets that can be used to further its mission.

Make a Planned Gift

The Land Trust received its first bequest in 1999 from the estate of Michael Meunier, who passed away in 1997. It's in Michael's memory and for his love of Minnesota's beautiful lands that the Minnesota Land Trust launched the Land Legacy Society (read more about Michael's story here). By including the Minnesota Land Trust in your will or other estate plans, you will help protect Minnesota's scenic lands and waters for future generations.

To request a copy of the Minnesota Land Trust's Leave A Legacy information packet, which includes sample will language, please contact Walter Abramson at 651-647-9590, or by email here.

We also recommend that you contact the Minnesota Council on Foundations and request the "Minnesota Tool Kit for Giving," by calling the Council at (612) 338-1989 or online at www.minnesotagiving.org.

Gifts that Honor or Memorialize Others

Gifts that honor or memorialize others are a wonderful tribute to those who have loved Minnesota's lands and waters.  To make a gift, please print out and mail the donation form or designate an online gift by using our secure server.

Gift Memberships

Gift memberships make great "green" gifts for birthdays, weddings and holidays. Some of the most favored and remembered gifts are charitable donations. All gift recipients receive our newsletter.

To contribute to our annual fund by giving a gift membership, please print out and send in our donation pledge form or give online through our secure server.

Employee Matching Gifts Programs

Many individual donors are able to multiply their personal gifts by securing a matching gift from their employer.

If your company will match gifts to the Minnesota Land Trust, please remit your employer's matching-gift form along with your gift.

The Minnesota Land Trust is a 501c(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
